Setting up Aqua Mail client

AquaMail is an email app for Internet and Exchange mail, for Android 4.0.3 and higher. Once installed on your Android device, it can be used to access your email hosted on "mgwmail.org". The following details how to configure the Aqua Mail client, to send and receive email for your account.

The download and installation of the Aqua Mail client is outside the scope of this help page, however it is availble from the "Play Store".

Once you've installed the Aqua Mail App, start Aqua Mail to begin the customisation

then click on "Set up an account", which takes you to the "New Account" menu

select "Internet Mail" as the account type, then click "OK".

In the next screen, set "Email" to your full email address, and enter your password in the "Password" field.

then click "Manual" to continue with the setup process (Don't click the "Next" option).

Which takes you to the "New account: Incoming server" screen. Leave all settings un-changed, except for the following:

• Server name - Change to "mailbox.mgwmail.org"
• Security type - Change to "SSL (strict check)"

and then click "Next".

Which takes you to the In the "New Account: Outgoing server" screen, leave all the settings un-changed except for the following which should be changed as indicated

• SMTP Server - Change to "postbox.mgwmail.org"
• Security type - Change to "STARTTLS (strict checking)"

then click "Next" to continue.

will briefly be displayed, and if the values are correct you'll move to the "New account: Almost done" page as shown below. If they are not correct, an error message will be displayed and you will be taken back to the "Outgoing server settings" screen to correct your entries.

In the "New account: Almost done" screen, all the options below can be left as is, except for:

• Enable IMAP push, instant message delivery

Make sure this is enabled (Ticked), which means the "mgwmail.org" server will push email to your device as soon as it arrives.
